I would like to know the Cablenut settings for a 384k 128k broadband connection please.

Edit: thanx for the file but it bring my connection from 302Kbps down to 268... sorry if i dont post the result here..

Please post a tracert to testmy.net I could not take individual latency into account and file is set to a latency of 200ms

im sorry coz im a noob in this thing.. i just got my DSL 2 weeks ago.. b4 i was on dial up.. heres my current settings using Vanburens Cable & DSL 10000.ccs.. i have no idea what those numbers are... i just choose w/c gaive me the best results...

Connection is:: 301 Kbps about 0.3 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Download Speed is:: 37 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (server2)
Test Time:: Mon Jan 16 2006 06:04:14 GMT+0800 (Malay Peninsula Standard Time)
Bottom Line:: 5X faster than 56K 1MB download in 27.68 sec
Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 65.43 % of your hosts average (pldt.net)

edit:  im only running 65 % of my host average????? is this real??

I would advise against using a tweak file that is designed for speeds so much higher than yours....the values may be too high and cause you to lose packets.

Unfortunately, with DSL, you may not be able to see your cap.

hmm. i hope i find 1 suitable for me... i thought the one posted wud be ok.. ( 384/128) .. my ISP says its 384Kbps so i wanna reach that.. right now im only at 300Kbps.. sometimes 297Kbps... pls help those who have 384Kbps DSL connection...

Hold on I may have to modify the settings file. From the OP I had no Idea this was for a DSL connection and used an MTU of 1500 Here's the settings for 384/128 for a 1492 MTU :
