i've been getting a major slowdown with Cox last couple of days.....id like to know if any of you ppl from phoenix are experiencing similar problems - i've been disconnected at least 20 times in last 2 days....web pages load terribly slow, download tests show

i've been unable to test higher than this last couple of days....im always in like ~600kB/s range when downloading, right now i can berely break a 100....anybody else having same kinda problems ? should i call them up ? btw....if it means anything...im using vanburens tweaks, the new ones....no spyware or any krap of that kind......everything else is fine....so what do you all think ?

seems though as if only my download has been affected as well as browsing....upload stays same

My Upload and Download have Slowed Down about 30%

Gonna Check Wiring and Splitters AS Soon As its Light Out...  I think the Cox Splitter was already looking Rusted Out a year and a half ago, which would explain the steady decrease in upload since i got Cox in 2001,  from 100+kB/sec -> 25 kB/sec, even if the speed isnt increased, stuff like signin in to xbox live are slow as dirt for me.

you might wanna contact Cox if ur experiencing problems....nowdays i replace my cable splitter's every month or 2...its only like 3 dollars anyway, and the connection always seems to be running smooth....

splitter....i use the same outlet for my cable tv and for my internet....so i just replaced it - oh yeah and splitter is that little device that allows u to connect multiple units to the same outlet
