Just upgraded from Adelphia basic HSI (256/256) for the preffered (4000/384). And keeping the same price ($25) for three months. Here's the end result...

Download Speed is:: 549 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 80X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.87 sec
Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 33.51 % faster than the average for host (adelphia.net)

Regular price for the preffered(4000/384) is $42.95 I believe.
