My mother stopped by tonight. Here company is giving away all of their extra DVD drives( including burners).
I was wondering how to get drivers for these. they have no name on them so I don't know how to get them any suggestions? Question Eight of them all together.

send me 2. when i find drivers for them i will let you know.

but seriously. no stickers on the outside, anywhere? not just on the front panel, i mean on the top bottom, sides, somewhere?

and if they're ide, connecting them and starting windows might well let windows detect what they are. that will clue you in on where to hunt for drivers.

with windows xp you should not need drivers. It will find them.

Yep, that burns dvd-r and dvd-rw ( rw meaning rewritable).

I'll take on of those burners if you have any extras  ;).

I have never claimed to be very smart.... that is what I thought though. I am very happy now. Funny they are going to sell the dvd copiers too. They build them for movie companys. I am very happy
