It is the nature of a forum that pretty much all views given are subjective. quotes of objective reports or actual objective numbers do occasionally sneak in, but that is the exception that only proves the rule.
furthermore, all the subjective opinions given on a subject only serve to set the opposite subjective opinion more firmly in the mind of the one holding it. most people prefer a brand or mentality or whatever of a certain item and will in all likelyhood not be swayed by mere arguments.
while the occasional holy war on a subject is fun, it does get tedious, doesn't it?
even polls on the subject reflect not the true numbers of users/proponents of something but merely what camp is currently more militant in promoting its view.
now get back to looking for the promised XXX, have a happy new year.
