Hi, I just recently downloaded and installed the Cabelnut program and followed the step by step instructions for tweaking my DirecWay system.  Before my connection was anywhere from 1500-2000 Kbps, since I added the tweak file I'm only connecting at 700-900 Kbps.  If I were to uninstall the cablenut program would everything be back to the original settings?  Any help would be much appreciated!!  Thanks

do you have DW 6000 or 4000?

remember the tweak is only for DW 4000 systems

Tweaking dosent help much on DW 6000 systems, might even slow you down.

and what cablenut settings did you use?

here is the file you should use.

http://www.testmy.net/forumz/download.php?id=157

anyway, if you like to restore your pc to windows defult just click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to to registry + reboot

Also try this:
DrTCP: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/2014
Optimal settings: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/2019

This is the only tweak I use, host and clients are identical, the Satellite USB Device is at 1500 as well.

Sumtimes it reaches a little over 2000...but it's about average now.  But there's probly not much a person can do about the horrible uploading speed tho huh?
