Hello,
I am running Windows XP Pro SP2 with SBC DSL 512k download speed but i am getting slow speeds. i have installed the p2p fix. here is the test data:

 Browser/OS = Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.Cool Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
Notes: Read the Analyzer FAQ if the above is not your IP address.
TCP options string = 020405ac01010402
MTU = 1492
MTU is optimized for PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
MSS = 1452
MSS is optimized for PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising your MTU value.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 65535
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 65535

Note: TCP 1323 Options need to be enabled for RWIN over 2^16 (65535). Windows 9x might also need the MS Vtcp386 fix.
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of Cool
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
 63888 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2621.4 Kbps (327.675 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1048.56 Kbps (131.07 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 118 hops

TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)

hello  Very Happy  i think that you are on the 1.5mb down 384up dsl express package.  That is normal speeds for that package.  i have been reading about dsl myself.  there is an overhead which reduces speed somewhat so i am pretty sure you are getting the correct speed.  however if you are on the pro package you should see higher speeds.  i am having cable internet speed problems myself.  i have been trying to get dsl for a while but so far they haven't activated the remote terminal in my area.  If express is the package that you have then those speeds are very good.

Ping and trace look good.  I would agree with Gib4500 in that you are likely on the 1.5M package, judging from your speed tests.

You can look into tweaking your OS using a program called Cablenut.  Read HERE
