I purchased a DCL 19" monitor through TigerDirect. I did have a problem with the first monitor. It had about a 1/2 of blank screen on the left side. Returning it for replacement was a breeze. Returning instruction were easy to follow and complete. The new monitor arrived promptly. Overall a good experience shopping at TirgerDirect. The monitor did have a rebate. DCL was late in sending it but it did arrive about 2 weeks late. The new DCL monitor has not had any issues to speak of for about 10 months now.

I'm not entirely sure of LG electronics is an "Off Brand" but the one i have here is good. (lower priced means about 350 euros)

The first one i got was not that good on color and had some dead pixels, and i could switch it for a new one for free. The guarantees are a thing you have to look for as well.

LG flatron L1915S here.
