are there any good websites out there that will teach me everything from the basics to the advanced stages of HTML and web site production? i'm looking for a free website, anyone know of any good ones?

TheArtworkGuy, This site has tutorials on just about everything from Web Design to Perl and many others for free, perhaps HTML as well.

TheArtworkGuy you should go download the try-out of dreamweaver and just play with the templets that come with it. thats how i got started.

Wysiwyg's will be your friend while your just starting out in html so dreamweaver would be a good idea to try out.
