Comcast 6Mb/384Kb using Firefox

I've done few speed test using MSIE 6.0 Vs. Firefox 1.0. It seems like FF as just a little faster, more so on the upload test.

MSIE

Connection is: 211 Kbps about 0.2 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Upload Speed is: 26 kB/s

yes I  made a mention to that fact about a month ago. Not only upload but download speeds are greater also, it must be in the way they wrote  their  program,code,script what ever it is called, as i recall i do'nt believe anybody replyied to that topic. Anyway it is remarkable on how much faster it is than the unsecure MSIE browser. Security is the reason that I changed to the FF browser in the first place, and that is  where I became aware of the marked speed increases.  Thanks Fred

Yes on my PC I use Avant,and on my laptop I have FF because it can run it better and because it seems to be more spyware vulnerable lol

So in the end my conclusion is that Firefox does have faster upload results, but for download on "my" computers IE had the fastest download speed test results, eventhough when I download something using Firefox its the fastest,usually starting at 3000kB/s then dropping to a normal 602kB/s. So overall Firefox is the fastest,most secure browser D

those two test were done one after the other and every time i compare speeds, firefox always turns out to be the faster browser.
