dw6000 speed and today's tip

today's dw6000 speed with small dish + home account

Connection is:: 1005 Kbps about 1 Mbps (tested with 579 KB)
Download Speed is:: 123 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 18 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 8.33 second(s)

REMEMBER signal strength does not effect speed. HOWEVER cross pol will! If your cross pol is failing just a little or alot it wil pause your speed. BE SURE you dish is not failing the cross pol test. If it is it needs to be resighted by a DirecWay dude or duduet.

Pricey tip, because it is rather expensive to call someone to aim it again. Test your speed using the larger tests btw, they are more accurate.

Could you post this in the DirecWay forum next time, since this is only for those that have to use that ISP.

Still, a nice Dw6000 speed, I hope it's the same on the larger tests.
