I can see your on Direct Way and i know upload will never be great, if you have win XP/2000 you can try increasing Default Send Window in cablenut program, make sure its multiple with 1024, the default value is 8192

but a value 1024x(your upload cap in kB/s) works best for most ppl, i dont know with DW..

If you dont know the cap you can assume a value, eg 384 Kbps = 384/8 = 48 kB/s

now take 48x1024 = 49152

all values in decimal

it can impact on downloadspeed for some ppl, try a smaller value and see if it helps.

delete the whole value, why doing it the hard way via registry when you can use cablenut?

 Smile  2smart4u,
 it depends what you use your computer for,if you do more uploading you may want that as fast as it will go, me I prefer to have my download as fast as possible, also I have had my test scores high but it seemed to make my  browser load pages slower so I finally set everything up so it works best  overall with the settings I have set, this took some trial and error but, it is doable.Also as I have posted before its not uncommon  after I make changes that it takes some time before I get my true readings and can see how everything is running. Lucky for me I got the time and I like messing with this stuff and ITS FREE to do.....lol, but it can sometimes get frustrating so don't give up Smile

::::::::::.. Upload Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is: 87 Kbps about 0.1 Mbps (tested with 579 KB)
Upload Speed is: 11 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line: 2 times faster than 56K you can upload 1MB in 93.09 second(s)
Validation Link :: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=HR4SCNOEW

but my download speeds are very low like u can see

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 481 Kbps about 0.5 Mbps (tested with 1013 KB)
Download Speed is:: 59 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 9 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 17.36 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=43NCSQRX5

now i can tweak up my download but my upload will drop, i normally go into a lot of secure sites, should i tweak up my upload or download, bu then at the same time i do download a lot of music constantly, so its confusing, what do u recommend, i am using an xp sp2
