I have a new 160G external usb hard drive.
I have XP home. I think I should format it
as NTFS. Is this correct???? Thanks.

Yes....that would probably be the best thing to do...unless of course you plan on connecting that drive to legacy windows systsems.

NTFS is kinda what you have to do.
