is this the fastest upload testmy.net has seen ?

Nope... here is a screenshot of a small sample of faster upload scores... these aren't even the fastest ones in the database, this is just a randon sample I pulled.  I have a couple thousand scores logged in the past 30 days that are over 5Mbps upload Wink  -- crazy huh

Are you going to ASU now alex?

It's still there.. it's just hidden... Wink

That's actually a great idea.  I'm going to bring that back, except instead of pull the stats live out of the database (which can be taxing on the database server) I will setup a cron to run like every hour.  That way there is also no waiting for the query either Smile

here is the link... http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/host_stats.php?top_100_u=1

lol, VanBuren is still on top Razz

actually that 17 Mbps upload speed was not made over the internet.

Back then i had the test on my webserver, and i tested it on the same PC

The fastest uploadspeed ive seen on testmy.net and the mirrors, is around 3 Mbps

I wish i could have a uploadtest on my mirror, but the problem is that the server dosent allow scripts...

I think they capped my mirror download speed to around 30 Mbps, cos before i could hit over 70 Mbps and on downloadtest, yes the network graph picked it up.

I guess this would be as good a place as any to ask this question, Why would my speed come back at 1.7 megs and this is on my network not so to speak out on the internet, and on Testmy it comes back at like 2.5megs. Could the servers be better on the back bone than my ISP's equipment. that is just a question not to be confused with a complaint :haha:
