Bottom Line:: 95X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 1.54 sec
Tested from a 2992 kB file and took 4.515 seconds to complete

Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 67.71 % of your hosts average (optonline.net)

im not really sure but im assuming it should be faster then this, because a month or so ago my uploads went much faster for all programs then they just stopped so im not so sure how to get them back to what they were.

Have you defragged or run disk cleanup lately? Have you got a registry cleaner? Are you virus and spyware clean?

It looks like you may need to do some pc cleaning. Upload speed has a lot to do with how fast your pc is. Do you have an up to date antivirus? I would download a spyware cleaner, adware cleaner, and registry cleaner. You can get Spybot S&D, Adaware, and CCleaner for free and they work well. Just google them. After you have ran all of these programs perform a disk cleanup and defreg your pc. Welcome to the forum and I hope this helps. Oh, and before you change any settings make sure you backup your registry. If you have system restore that is a quick and easy way to do it.

i always restart my modem when ever i have problems and yes im running throught a router... a "Linksys BEFSR41"

and i looked up the average optonline speeds are they are

avg optonline.net (8026 Kbps)< for download

avg optonline.net (702 Kbps)<for upload

also when i do defragment it says somefiles could not be moved then when i hit analyze again it says that the volume should be defraged
