hey marauder and welcome to the forum Smile

run this test and find MTU http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks

it should be 1492 if you use a router and 1480 if your not.

if the value is 1480 let me know and i will make a file for you

now follow this guide and download cablenut and vanburens_cablenut_settings.zip

http://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1013.0

I suggest you start with the first version and if it dosent help, use version 2.

good luck

RWIN can be calculated mathematicly, i suggest you use the custom files first without any changes

Install cablenut

unzip the vanburens_cablenut_settings.zip to C:\Program\Cablenut\

open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner click file, open custom settings file

just browse to C:\Program\Cablenut\VanBurens cablenut settings\WinXP_2K_CABLE_DSL\MSS1452

and choose the file, that suit your cap, click save to registry and reboot

good luck

what speed do you paying for? If i remeber it right Verizon has a 3000/768 Kbps package and a 1500/512 Kbps package

thats why i made several files, and you should choose the file that says 1500/512 if thats what you paying for ( thats what i mean about suit your cap)

Its either 1.5/384 or 3/768 if you have a buisness package or live in NY and upgraded.

If its 1.5/384 which it most likely is, then leave it at that, i'd be very happy if i could get mine to 3.0.
