why? my burst before was 4.2, now it's down by a full 2Mbps. Sorry to bother you again Vanburen, but any help? I'm finnaly on Winxp.

It might be a routing issue, make a tracert during the times when you see the problems, and also make a traceroute when burst is fine

start-run

type cmd and hit enter

type tracert testmy.net and hit enter

right click copy all and paste it here

the burst just dissappeared, yep. now i'm back down to 1.7 down/0.2 up. the upload was always that slow though. :mad: :rolleyes2: any more suggestions? you certainly know enough about this stuff!

If your advertised is 3000 then 2800+ is a great score.

I'd be happy if I could reach 2800 without any tweaks.

you can have cablenut installed and still have no tweaks loaded, just make sure all fields is clear in adjuster.
