right. how much does aol say you should be getting, and i agree. lose aol, get other isp.

and to be complete, what os, run a tracert to www.testmy.net and post it, also add in a post of your ul speed if you want.

im using XP pro and i dont no any tracers so if u can provide me one that would be great
Edit: aol says i should get like over 100x faster then 56k i think and i no im not even close

Go to START,run, type cmd then on the black screen type:
tracert testmy.net

Thats the tracer that ur provided with by your computer ;)

And like resopalrabotnick said,aol is not good as we all know, u should try and get another isp,but im not implying anything,its not my money Smile

not compaired to my friends and ur guys speed but i just hate how my d/l DROPS rapitly to like 70 and then drops really slowly and that bug the he'll out of me

Also if u didnt have AOL u might have been able to tweak your connection to maybe make it a little faster but u cant,so I dont know what else could be wrong,if I were u I would wait for tomorrow when the real smart guys get on,and they might be able to help u a little more than I was able to.
And btw I didnt get to do it before,but welcome to testmy hope u like it,and hope u keep on coming back Smile

I know it AOL broadband but who's the Providor? Like Earthlink is really just timewarner cable the same as Road Runner.

I think AOL is AOL,all they did was merge with TIme Warner but AOL still controls their own internet

get your hands on one of their spammed mailing cd's

slip it into the drive of someone you do not like.

let the autostart commence.

he /will/ in all likelyhood end up reinstalling his system. the damn things infest the whole comp even before you agree to install anything.
