::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 183 Kbps about 0.2 Mbps (tested with 386 KB)
Download Speed is:: 22 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 3 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 46.55 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=DT2ERLL1H

I should be getting 256kB/s, and at times I do and plus some, anyway, is there anyway of speeding this up?  I'm on a wireless connection ran off of radio waves, running to a "WaveRider" box,

then try this file Cable & DSL 1000 128

it has a higher RWIN, it can speed up but if you loose packets the speed might go slower

it wont hurt trying

follow the steps in my prevoius post and use this file instead

good luck

Is there anyway to change the registery back to the orignal value?  Because I plan on running these test tomorrow since my ISP is known to have downtimes every Sunday, so it could be part of the problem.

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 340 Kbps about 0.3 Mbps (tested with 386 KB)
Download Speed is:: 42 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 6 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 24.38 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=IVKIQTDCI

See, my connection is screwed up, I get faster speed than what i should get sometimes, and it's the opposite at other points.  This is without any tweak registry, I'll try it with a tweak now.

yea It seems like your connection is unstable, and knowing that i would suggest to use the first tweak file with a low RWIN, to reduce packetloss.

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 434 Kbps about 0.4 Mbps (tested with 386 KB)
Download Speed is:: 53 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 8 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 19.32 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=20OEK1A1I

I used the 1500 and 128 file.  So you recommend me to go lower, to save on packet loss?

yea, cos when your connection gets unstable and poor speed that tweakfile will work better., also in your first post you said you suppose to have 256 Kbps and you will get that with the first file.
