i hope oscar is alright. and on that note (not to take your idea coknuck) i wish my dog who just got out of surgery for a tumor in her ear stays healthy.

I wish that these fires here in San Diego County would go away!  My 85 year old mother was successfully evacuated yesterday afternoon from her La Cresta home (Witch Fire)  My youngest daughter let the other grandmother take her son for the night.  The other grandmother lives in Spring Valley (CA) and Spring Valley is on Mandatory Evacuation since  2 a.m. (PDT) this morning (Harris Fire).  Last night she did not know where the other grandmother had been evacuated to.

We are not supposed to use our cell phones down here because they say nearly hourly on the TV news that the lines need to be clear for emergency calls.  It seems like all of San Diego's outlying suburbs are burning down!  Anybody who has seen the news reports and have seen a map of the San Diego County area can see that San Diego County is HUGE!

We are having a really BAD Santa Ana condition down here!
