I am putting a copy of two tests here that was done from HYPERTERMINAL on my computer I have deleted the computer trash you will get with the test so if you do the test expect to see a lot of it.If you are tech enough to read it & know what it means you probably don't need to.The graphs didn't paste just right but basically each drop after the long flat line of asterisks is a load coil on the line.If after this you see a U or V shaped pattern between drops the line has a problem most likely a bad load coil. This test also gives SNR( signal to noise ratio) which should be 25 or above.I hope there are others on dial-up at testmy.net & some of this info helps .It might give DSL users a little useful info too.Cholla
