Bottom Line:: 163X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 0.9 sec
Tested from a 12160 kB file and took 10.672 seconds to complete
Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 73.88 % faster than the average for host (Comcast.net)

My only tweaking is a program called SpeedConnect MC, which definitely made a difference (I used to get around 7, with my Router, Firewall and Prevx running). Now, it's never less than 8.7, even at peak. So, I'm very happy with Comcast.

Thanks man - but I remember the days of 2400 baud modems and bulletin boards... (yeah, I'm a geek)
I pay $55, but my roommate runs off our LAN too.
