Hey Wizdoms.....

At the moment ANY downloads (especially the large ones) throughout the entire DirecWay systems are "strange" and are not behaving properly because of a new server "with an attitude."  The FAP engine is kicking in early (or you have downloaded more than you are aware of?  You do know that it is based on your usage over the past four hour period right???).

Give me (by email if you wish) the URL and file and I"ll see if I can "route you direct" to it.....

Either email me or post back ...I'll keep my eye out for your reply.  Sorry for the inconvenience, yet there is notta that I can do about what NOC is messing up lately.

* Don't forget that now that you have download that much ....you are stuck with the 'dead' download and the MB are counted against you for the next four hours  ...so just let it run if you haven't already killed it.  It just might pick up speed unless you are truly under a FAP.

Try a download manager like reget deluxe or reget pro that's what i use,

And on DW  i have a 500MB FAP limit but i can download 1 GIG in  24 hours without getting FAP'ed,

you just need to set reget so it downloads at a slow pace.

Ditto!  Please make sure the files you download for doing this type of downloading are 'trojan and spyware free'.  Even if you download them directly from their main sites.

Stay away from Download Accelerator Plus and Netants

also Flashget they are all adware and spyware even with the paid version. :ar15fire:

I got ahold of a 'faked' copy of Reget and it took my software several hours to get rid of all the crap that was very ingeniously hidden within it.  Not one scan with everything I have detected a single thing!  Geesh!  All that money and for what?  lol.....
