Actually Fall is my favorite time of year. The leaves are falling, the sun actually feels warm (not hot), the leaves with all those colors end up making a jump pile for the kids to jump in, hot cocoa or warm cider tastes good on the back porch, a light jacket unbuttoned, very little grass mowing, hayrides, craft festivals, bon fires (one of my favorites), Haloween, Haunted Houses, etc...

What other season offers so much color and variety Question

A time for reflection on things achieved or indeed not achieved ,
A time to patch up relationships that have been lost in the dog days of summer,
A time to enjoy the late Indian summer to the full ,
A time to patch up the cave for winter hibernation,
A time of hope for the comming regeneration that winter brings,

Fall. Yes, I agree with you Tommie. Fall and Winter are great! Keep the summer. Keep your heat. Keep your bugs. Give me frozen snots and black ice any day! I can always get warm in the winter. A blanket and some brandy will do the job! I can never get cooled off in the summer heat! Sweaty underwear stuck to my ass! Jump in my car and grab my melting steering wheel! Screw that! Bring on the fall and football!!
GO GIANTS!!

Yes, autumn is a great season. Even if it only lasts about 2 weeks in Houston. Sometimes it doesn't even get here until the middle of December.  :haha:

Sorry about that philp, we usually have a full 3 months of Autumn here in MO.
I enjoy every moment of it. Til the damned white stuff arrives. Then the GAS bills arrive (actually I am on propane, but I start having to use it). And the stupid drivers that act like they have never seen the crap before. And having to shovel it out of the drive and off the sidewalk.
I hate winter.  angry4
It was meant for polar bears.

Hockey season for me please.
I have never actually never been to a Hockey game before, it would be interesting to take the daughters to see some guys loose some teeth.  evil6
