Glad to see we got that problem solved Lance,

I am amazed that Starband is hitting speeds that rival the DW6000. How does your unit hold up in 'heavy weather' as compared to DWay dishes?

Both dishs hold up pretty good the only time i lose connection is during a heavy down pour and thunderstorms.
We just had a recent ice storm and i never went down but i use a dish heater http://www.DirecWaydealer.com/html/accessories.php i get alot of flack about it on other forums as you know.

I never hit the other forums unless somebody directs my attention to them. I'm running flat out in here for about 18hrs a day, sometimes I'll knock down 26hr days then crash for a few then hit it again! lol....

I use Rain-X on my dish to keep it "dry". No snow here in Costa Rica but it surely does help slip the water off, and keeps my SS high even in a downpour. Most think they can't punch through the rain. But, the problem starts in the dish and reflectivity! Simple!
