Hi guys,what is a good motherboard for the Conroe 6600 and costs less than $200.
And if its SLI or Crossfire even better smiley

id wait another month until the new breed of motherboards matures ;) - i still havent found one that has everything id want in a motherboard - so i opted to wait until its right time

Yeah i havent been following the motherboard arena lately.. damn there is nothing new.. Even the DFI series is lacking on newegg..  I would normally recommend DFI.. but there is nothing to really recommend at this time..

Yea,by the time I save up money for it and the new pc...it would be a month lol grin

Yea the one you got is the Deluxe version its a very good motherboard and like you said easy Ocing,so hows your experience with the E660? is it good?

i think you would too

no troubles at all, runs very cool, 28C at stock with air cooling
but i figured it was cool enough so i wanted to make it a lil hotter by ocing it, i think he feels right at home now Smile

You really can't go wrong with ASUS.  They by far are one of the most popular boards and for good reason....SUPPORT.  You can count on them quickly addressing issues that arise.  I have a A8N-SLI D and I love it.
