Lance, Howdy neighbor! Obviously Starband has you on the IA7 satellite. On the GE4 bird they have lost lease on majority of their transponders and have overloaded the remaining ones. Therefore they have throttled port 119 making the news server useless. speed there is less than half of dial up.

No i'am on GE4 cluster 4 subcluster 74 i have had only had 1 day where my speed was down to 500Kbps and that was during this.

up slowing down http downloads. They are trying to figure out how to give
some back to newsgroups without slowing something else down, so as you see
they are aware of the situation and working on it."

I have 484 pro small office plan so it may be not be affecting me as much, but i have not seen alot of complaints at starbandusers, and there is quite a few dealers/installers their.
And it's -20° here now. I bet rev would love to be here now.
