dlink dI 704p REV.a

Hi all , first post , getting frustrated wit this router , i have a Broadcom 440X network card , DSL modem etc .. I can login to the router (192.168.0.1) but cannot get out through my DSL modem. I noticed that my network card has a amber light status when i connect to the router , when i am directly hooked up to the DSL modem i have a green status light. I do not understand why i cannot get out from the router to the internet ..... i am stumped , oh i am running Windows XP. Is it possible that the router has something wrong with it ?

what DSL modem is it?

You need to configure the PPPoE setting for the router.. http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=997&question=PPPoE

Take a look at that and you should be up and running..
