Ok, my college has capped our internet, 700kdownload and 15k upload.  I have 2 internet ports and a router.  I have 2 nic card and a wireless card.  I have tried setting up 2 ftp servers ont he same computer and messing around with it so it handled 2 connections, but it messes up a lot.  Is there an easier way to do this?

I forgot to mention that im on a college connection,w here there are 2 ethernet ports.  Ive actually done it, and it worked.  It took a lot of work though, maybe 15 minutes of disabling the wireless card then turning on ftp, then doing that for the other connection until my ftp server was able to recognize 2 seperate connections.  So i know its possible :/

Actually, it did.  The person downloaded using Getright and used both of my connections.  Each mirror downloaded at 15k/sec..

Ill try to explain into depth of what i did and what i know about this network.  Im not a networking guru.

The network identify users by their MAC Address.  For instance, the first time you plug in the computer, you would have to register.  If i wanted to plug in a second computer, i would have to register that computer under the same account.  You can register as many computers as you want to under your account.  Once you register the computer, you wont run into the login screen again. 

I had a wireless router, which i plugged into the wall.  One was connected using the ethernet wire directly into the wall,the other used my wireless card which was connected to a different port in the wall(i didnt have another nic card at the time).  One was assigned xxx.xxx.xxx.02 and the other xxx.xxx.xxx.03.  Both of the connections were registered on the nework already.  I disabled my wireless connection and opened up BulletProof FTP Server.  it would say Current Connection is xxx.xxx.xxx.02.  I disabled the NIC and enabled my wireless.  I opened another instance of BulletProof FTP Server and it said the Active Connection is xxx.xxx.xxx.03  Then i enabled both cards.

My friend used getright and connected using both of the ip#'s that bulletproof provided me.  They downloaded at 30k/sec.. 15k per connection.  This went on for about 5 hours, with no errors or corruption.

Oh, i did it for 5 hours because that was how long it took me to send the file.  I can reproduce it, but i hate disabling and re-enabling the nic/wireless card.  Im just looking to see if theres an easier way to do this.
