my friend has to boot from a cd and we can't figure out how to get into the bios. he has a dell dimension 8110. thanks in advance

on most boards its DELETE. On some dells i have used it been F2. Use one of the keys right when you hit the power button

To load from a disk I dont think you go into the BIOS, You have to go to the boot options thing. Im pretty sure you just rap on the F4 or F12 key during the dell logo thing.

yeh but you can change the boot order in bios if its not available alone.

its usually f1 f8 or delete
