Well I am not the tweak master vanburen but I can help!!! First try to power off your cable modem and turn back on after about 15sec!!! Then If that did not help bring up cablenut and look for the button that says delete cablenut tweaks and click it!!!! Then restart your pc!!!! That should put it back to normal!!!! Later vanburen will probably help you by making a file for cablenut for your connection thanks!!!

Hey I also have Cable and Im hoping you can help me. I'm running Windows XP and my ISP is Rogers Extreme, my advertised speeds are 5.0 Mbps download and 800 Kbps upload.  I rarely if ever come close to reaching this speed, maybe only in the early hours of the morning when no ones on.  I downloaded Cablenut and installed the settings but it doesnt seem to help much.  My speeds usually average between 2.0 - 3.0 Mbps but sometimes it can get much slower.  Please help.

here is the dsl reports test
http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:424475d?service=cable&speed=5000&os=winXP&via=normal

this is how slow it gets sometimes

hey meikeo and welcome to the forum Smile

do you have SP2 installed? If not install it

download the file i attach and unzip it to C:Program\Cablenut

open cablenut adjuster and click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

in top left corner you see file, click load custom settings, browse to C:Program\Cablenut

dubbleclick on the file you unzipped

click save to registry and reboot, also reboot your modem and router for 30 seconds

make a new tweaktest and post result URL and also make new speedtest

good luck
