My ISP updated my connection, I did a tweak test here is what it stated.
http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:32b2ac5?service=dsl&speed=2048&os=winXP&via=normal
2048/1024 Connection.

Need to know what to set rwin to.

Thanx.

heyas mbrainerd Smile

download and install cablenut 4.08 http://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64

download the attached file, unzip it to C:\Program\Cablenut

open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner you see file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:\Program\Cablenut and dubbleclick on Cable & DSL 2048 1024.ccs

now you have some values set in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot your pc, also reboot your modem and router

make speedtest and post a new tweaktest result

good luck

I used that one but speeds dropped down to 1400, uninstalled cable nut set rwin to 20440 last speed test was 1878 down. With my isp probably will not get anymore than that.

Still would like to get more of my upload. Testmy averages around 530, other places dslrepo.cogece.speakeasy I am getting about 750 up.

Will go tech support tomorrow see if I can get them to bump me up another notch to at least get 90% of speed.

Hey Micro. I have been trying to find the website in the forums that you went to to see if your settings were configured right. I remember one of the screenshots said with your rwin settings your download speed are only capable of a certain speed.
Hope you know what I am talking about or maybe someone will.

Heya mbrainerd Smile

you uninstalled it too fast, i havent finetuned anything yet.....

its impossible to make the perfect file that fit all connections without some tuning.

I suggest you re-install cablenut so i can help you

VanBuren Smile

btw Cablenut is the only tweakprogram that can boost your upload
