Ya know , I have no idea anymore, but I do know, that where I'm at, you don't get what you pay for. The lowest package seems to do better than any of the others.
I had there premium, which was 6d 7u , and my speeds suffered. This went on for a year or so, after they replaced my drop w/ RG8 my S-N ratio came down,  but the speeds stayed the same.crappy. So I said heck w/ it, gimmie your slowest package , and you can see what I get now. Doesn't make sense but It is what it is . lol

I complained to my isp for about 2 months and got about 7 other people in my town to complain also and now we get over advertised speeds to most places

I asked my ISP why our upload cant be at least 1 MB or better and they said that it all depends on what the depand is in your area basically saying that there not going up faster then the next guy in the town all though after people have been asking for faster uploads they just bumped my upload from 512 to 768 and also i have noticed faster downloads now, so that tells me the faster your upload is the better throughput you can acheive on the downside.

My speeds are Unrestricted/768, bascially theres no cap on my modem, the midco max package has the no back, but there lower package is capped at 10mb/512k

I average around 18 to 20Mb down,  i think that its do to that fact that my upload is capped at 768.
