Hi. I need help in setting my download speed so that it will get near to 1MB. I'm currently using 1MB download and 384 upload. When i tried the bandwidth test on average the speed that I got will be around 700+Kbps. I've downloaded and installed cablenut and somehow I don't see any improvement. This is the bandwidth test result

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 719 Kbps about 0.7 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)
Download Speed is:: 88 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 13 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 11.64 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=07JTV26Z4

::::::::::.. Upload Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 133 Kbps about 0.1 Mbps (tested with 97 KB)
Upload Speed is:: 16 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 2 times faster than 56K you can upload 1MB in 64 second(s)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=7T21KC48E

Please help. Thanks

hey mohdkiak and welcome to the forum Smile

do you have DSL or Cable?

also follow these steps

3. What tweakprograms you already got installed, and run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks copy and paste result URL  adress in your post!
5. What speed do you have against www.testmy.net and http://nitro.ucsc.edu/  also make a tracert, go to start-run type command and hit enter, type tracert testmy.net and hit enter, right click copy all and paste it in your post.

the settings monkhoous gave you increased your speed and should work very well, if you have been closer to testmy.net i bet you would reach your cap.
