Hello everyone, I am looking forward to the launch date for U-Verse in Oklahoma! I am a Premise Technician for OKC but I am currently installing in another state until we start in Oklahoma, I am ready to go home and start hooking up the metro area. Most of the information I know right now is currently considered “proprietary information” including the launch date but I can tell you some that I do know, I know among others that Edmond and Norman are two of our starting area’s and it shouldn’t be too long before we start. Don’t quote me on this but I believe there will be some kind of promotion going on when we start, the state I am in now is doing first 2 months free and there are no additional fees for the receiver boxes up to a certain amount. I have spent a lot of time with the service and I have to say that my customers aren’t the only ones that have been impressed with it, I am too. I know there are a lot of people waiting for it in Oklahoma, I’ve even started an e-mail list of people who want to be some of the first to get it, and as soon as I am able to give out the confirmed launch date I will send it out with info on getting started. I don't know if you will know with my distance from you but do you know if the Grove OK area is on the slate and also I would like to know if there will be a distance limitation to it like DSL has and about how far it would be if so? The reason I even dare to ask is because they are laying what I am sure to be fibre optic cable around town but it is unknown to what this cable will pertain too.
