Hello i play a game called "Rune" and i ussaly have 70 ping in my server. well today i did and all of the sudden  my ping went up to 150-190... iit will stay at about 80 somethings then it will spike up to about 150-190 again. and it keeps doing it. its just wierd all of a sudden this starts. does anyone know what i can do to make my pings better. i have 3000/300 cable. my internet is fine it just seems like my Pings suck all of a sudden.  angry3

Well, That sucks. There isnt anything that can make your ping lower. As technology advances we will somehow find a way to do so. Smile

 ;) You could try a tracert and see what you get!!  thats not gonna fix it but it can give you more info and may steer you in a direction  Smile

try rebooting your cablemodem for 30 seconds and also reboot your router

My guess is that the tracert will tell the story.. I can almost be you are going though a busy router/switch..
