Comcast upgraded my gold service from 3300/384 to 6600/768.  Thats exactly twice as fast as before, right? ... WRONG!  The only thing that increased is my upload speed, SLIGHTLY!  I can see absolutely no increase in my download speed.  I contacted Comcast and they told me to recycle my modem and all would be good.  Did that 150 times and no increase.  Here are the required postings:

1. Windows XP Service Pack 2
2. Comcast Gold 6600/768
3. Cablenut 4.08
4. Results of Tweak Test:   http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:2ed637e?service=cable&speed=6600&os=winXP&via=normal

hey Chris and welcome to the forum Smile

Install win XP SP2 if you dont already got it

download and unzip the attached file to C:\Program\Cablenut

open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

in top left corner you see file, load custom settings file, browse to C:\Program\Cablenut and dubbleclick on the file you unzipped

now you have some values in adjuster, click save to registry

reboot, also reboot your modem for 30 seconds, and reboot your router

good luck
