First, my sound does not work. I have Realtek high definition Audio, but there if a ATI HDMI audio also. The problem i'm having is that it does not seem to recognize the Realtek audio, which is the one i want. When i got to my volume control. it tells me that there is to mixer installed. and when i go to the Realtek audio properties there is nothing is says:
Driver provider: Unknown,
Driver date Not available,
Driver Version: not available,
Driver Signer: not digitally signed.

There is also a Gigabyte tech. sound manager. sound does play when i test it though that.

My bro looked at it and he got stumped only thing he could think of is to try and update everything as much as i can. I will be doing that once i am done here.

I need some help here, im trying to play Doom 3 and it is not scary with out sound. I need sound.

You need to get rid of the drivers you are not using. Is the realtek audio the one that come with the motherboard? If it is make sure it is turn on in the BIOS. There are jumpers on some motherboard so you can use the audio on the front panel  check the manual to make sure the jumpers are in the right slots.

I've tried eveything i can think of and my sound still doesn't work. I've tried to delete and reinstall my realtek audio, but it wont let me uninstall it. I've tried downloading the driver for it but that will not install.
I went to the bios screen but could not find anything to do with sound. I need some more info about that, becuase i kinda didn't know what anything meant.

I am just going to ask your method of uninstalling the sound drivers. Was it through the Device manager?

Not sure if this is possible. But have you tried the uninstall through safe mode?

Never know.  Very Happy
