Hi, im running Verizon DSL with a windows 98 computer on a Westell 2200 modem.
TEST MY
Your connection is: 123 Kbps (about 0.1 Mbps)
You uploaded at: 15 kB/s
Your TRuSPEED™: ^info^ 132 Kbps :: 16 kB/s (7% overhead factored)
Bottom Line: You are running: 2 times faster than 56K and can upload 1 megabyte in 68.27 second(s)
OC Test
TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.2.1e
click START to begin
Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done
running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 141.90kB/s
running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 545.63kB/s
Your PC is connected to a Cable/DSL modem
click START to re-test
Now on the second one, what is download and what is upload? Thanks/
running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 141.90kB/s is your upload --- I have used that test before and to tell you the truth (no just because this is my site) but the speed you see there (for the upload) is off by about 10-15% ~~ the speed it quotes me is like 820+ Kbps the most I have ever seen is 770 or so... again, not just because this is my site... but my upload test is more accurate than that one. The download test (most of the time) is exactly the same (on my own line) as testmy.net test. I tested on a 100Mbps connection though and it only said the line was 5Mbps

-- I thought that was pretty funny ~~
Swimmer... my connection for the server is 100 Mbps by the way --
