Hi, sorry I don't have the time , and any rant/report made with hindsight
is a easy thing to do , besides I never heard any one expressing those views the day after the tragedy happend ,
and as you quote, one small explosion caused 200Lbs of asbestos into the atmosphere , displaced 200 people (probably to late ) and the building was entirely covered in plastic sheeting , it then took 4 weeks to clean up , and by clean up I mean bringing the levels down to an acceptable level ,BTW, there ain't know such thing as an asbestos free atmosphere ,
so how do you apply that regime to a vast city , and fast ?
lets just hope leasons have been learned ,
from my experience with asbestos , you can never just seal the building and vacuum it up , the final treatment is to coat everything with a special varnish ,circulate a lot of filtered air , and then with luck you will have got the level down enough , as I said how the hell do you do that to a city,
and the other factor is that dust will have travelled for miles , maybe thousands of miles , with all the heat involved the giant thermal created
could have risen to +15,000 ft carring the dust with it , to finally settle in someone else's back yard ,
all I can see from the parts of the report I read,is that the blame is being put onto the USA government , I think that maybe the wrong target ?
Tdawnaz lets leave it at "agree to disagree" ,

BTW and of topic , anyone got advice about what to do with a cracked rib , it hurts
(

I guess I don't bounce as well as I did

)
