and what separates the wheat from the chaff is wether or not they do more than they are allowed to do or not. it's human nature to be vindictive. this is what an officer has to overcome. and having the feeling that most of the public hates him because of the way he is treated doesn't make it easier. be nice to the 5-0 when you see them. give 'em a wave or a smile. show your appreciation for their protection.

I would expect my dumb ass to get pushed around if I was acting like that, too.
I had an ex years ago and she weighed 95 lbs, I was 225 or so at the time.
She flipped out on me one day and I let her hit me until she full on punted my twins in for a long field goal.
Then, uh after I got up, I had to try to stop this nonsense and grabbed a hold of her to settle her down; keep in mind I let her go crazy on me and I was never,ever rough on her or any women ever.
Any ways as I tried to calm her down and I continued to get my ass beat over and over.
That little girl was a lot harder to keep off me then I ever imagined.

And so you all know, she and I are still good friends, but we stopped dating after that "incident"; and fortunately my only "incident" I have ever had with a woman.
I think she scared me deep down, I just run away now.....
