I need help choosing the right wireless internet because I keep hearing mixed opinions of which one to go for.
Anyone have any ideas?
Can anyone please help me find the right laptop to go for at around £500?

Welcome to the forum.
I am assuming you are looking for a laptop?
Are you also looking for wireless internet service?
£500 is equal to about $1025, US, if I found a good exchange site.
That will buy you a very nice laptop, but you may want to wait for some other members to put in their opinions, I have not purchased a new laptop in years.
We also have a few members from the UK that can give you some good options for service over there.

I've always felt that PC and laptop purchases should really be left to the buyer as it depends more on personal preferences and intended use. My brother wasted $2200 on a laptop that does everything but have sex with him, and all he really uses it for is music downloads and an occasional online game.

Make a list of the things you want the laptop to do, and then go shopping.

BTW, I use http://www.xe.com/ for exchange rates.
