ya the cap is 384 but it might be changed to 512 soon

Question: do u have fiber optic lines running to ur house? not sure if thats a dumb question ne way our upgrade consisted of just the network being redone with fiber optic

they probl was forced to add more fiber to be able to feed your residential area with the High speed Cable

i have fiber optics to my house, fiber converter and switch in the basement, its just a matter of time when all have it to their homes.

you never know, before you try tweaking, but a guess is around 5.5 Mbps

Uncapping modems is illegal and i strongly advice NOT to do it.........

thats stealing bandwidth and you can get sued for big bucks

Tweaking your windows registry is NOT illegal and i advice ppl to do it if you cant reach 90% of the advertised speed
