a speed problem.... plz help

i saw all the guides here.... which is gr8! and thanks alot!
but i didnt find my connection , for the setings...
my connection is ADSL
2 mb / sec
i ask the provider what i get with this account i get - 2000 up and 96 down
i think
anyone can help me tweak this so i can get better results?

i need to know your MSS to be able to make a file for you
also i think you got it reversed, your upload cap is probl 96 Kbps and your download cap 2000 Kbps

OS: WINXP SP2 - patch installed already
service: 2000 d\l 96 u\l
i got no tweak prog installed :

download and install Cablenut
http://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64
download this attached file (Cable & DSL 2000 128.zip ), unzip it to C:\Program\Cablenut
open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner click file, load custom settings file, browse to C:\Program\Cablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped.
now click save to registry and reboot
check speed again, use the 2992 KB testfile for download and 1496KB testfile upstream, also make a new tweaktest and post result

make a tracert, go to start-run type command and hit enter, type tracert testmy.net and hit enter, right click copy all and paste it in your post.
also make a tweaktest

your ISP probl block traceroutes but i updated the file for you, download this and overwrite the old one, and load it in cablenut
now click save to registry and reboot
then test speed use 2992 KB test down and 1496 KB test upstream
