Hitachi has just released a 400GB hard drive!!
It will beavailable on IDE and SATA so everyone will be able to get this monster. Read the artical for more details.

Raid is a type of storage system that has a very large capacity and portabilty........and different applications and is often used on servers...... someone may have more or a different take on raid but thats my understanding of it.......

Raid stands for... Redundant Array of Independent (or Inexpensive) Disks. It is true that most of the time it is used on servers...but it is becoming more popular for computer geeks and the hardcore speed freaks.
