I am going through a router, I have mcaffee firewall installed..but am thinking of uninstalling it..

NIC is set to 100mb full duplex...

I have used tcp optimizer and am running under its "optimal settings"
I have cablenut but have no clue to which file to use.

Cap...good question... My account is supposed to be 4Mbps/ 384Kbps

Yes have installed sp2

download and install Cablenut http://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64

download this attached file (Cable & DSL 4400 384.zip) and unzip it to C:\Program\Cablenut

now open cablenut, in top left corner, click file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:\Program\Cablenut and dubble click on the file Cable & DSL 4400 384.ccs

now click save to registry and reboot your pc

I dont think you have SP2 installed

the tweaktester reports your RWIN to Receive Window (RWIN):     64240

should be Receive Window (RWIN):     549888

so, install SP2 and try again

Thanks for your help. I will try and install it...... I could have sworn I downloaded it and installed it but maybe I was dreaming Smile.

Sad I recently got rid od McAffee because it was slowing down my connection by 1000Kbps I installed AVG and ZA and I'm flying again and its free..... Smile
