Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 54.96 % faster than the average for host (Comcast.net)

just used VanBuren's 6000/768 cn settings

i have xp sp2 with tcp fix behind netgear router with nic set to auto negotiation

try this, open cablenut, change TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize to 128480

click save to registry and reboot

test again

Bottom Line:: 88X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.7 sec
Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 59.39 % faster than the average for host (Comcast.net)

I still think I should get 700 or so...and others on this board have done so with the same plan, so i'm a little stumped as to what the prob is

try forcing your NIC to 100 Mbps full duplex against your router

well that seemed to help...btw i'm using Maxthon but firefox has had similar results for me

note: i can dl at full capacity around 740-770 off newsgroups so i'm happy about that
