Yes, 3 Mbps package.... Yesterday I was only DL at 18kB/sec, called Comcast for some help (and amazingly enough got fantastic customer service) then got up to 1.3Mbps, ran your tweak, and ran off 3.639! I later ran a 3.9...
Is there any more tweaks I can do to maybe break the 4.0 Mbps threshold? Or am I maxed out with the twek I ran?
I thought 1.3Mbps was pretty quick (coming from Dial-up) but 3.9Mbps is blazing for me! Thanks again!! You da MAN!!

Cool... I maxed at 3.986 last night..... Sooooooo close!! I just want to see the red bar once.... The installer told me they may be upping the cap to 5Mbps in a couple of weeks, so I may have to try another tweak then.. Maybe I'll almost get 6Mbps then! Much thanks for the tweaks VB, you really are the man!!!

yea i think so, if i remember it right, you pull 90% of cap both up and down ;)
then add approx 10% overhead and you get what you pay for

That and I tweaked a bunch on the computer itself... Updated drivers, played with the NIC settings, stuff like that.. Biggest improvement was when I ran Nvidia's ntune program... Made the computer itself run MUCH faster! I never could have dreamed you could tweak a computer as much as you can... It's a blast!
