Hey. I had my connection tweaked pretty good previous the upgrade [Thanks to VanBuren]. My cable company upgraded me from 4000/500 to 6000/500. I need help tweaking my settings for my new speeds please. Thanks in advance.  ;)


[1.] Windows XP Pro SP2
[2.] Wide Open West - Advertised 6000/500

hey hoodlegend Smile

i see your using the 6000 768 file now

i made a 6000 512 file for you, but it wont help your downloadspeed, cos the settings is the same for downstream

however, try this, if you use a router, manual force your NIC to 100 Mbps full duplex

if you not using router and connect direct to modem, set your NIC to 10 Mbps half duplex

post again if you need help setting the duplex

Whoa! My speed is terribly slow.   confused1
