help requested - running XPSP2, Comcast cable 4000, 384, cablenut & DrTCP021, Cccleaner latest version, van's settings 4400/384.  mozilla firefox, webstar DPX2100, DI624 router

any suggestions to speed up?

ran twice from cogeco
best was 3926/357 -  :onot bad>> unfortunately am not getting consistant results
could be congestion Confused??

using 5000/384 for SP2 MSS1460from your most recent van . . . 5 file ;)

tried 3500/384 reduced thruput . . .

reset to 4400/384 rec'd 3926/357 as cog.net - may be all that it can b 4 now.  area where i am at has lots of congestion<> more broadband>less lines . . .

will ocntinue to try to improve

do you get slower speed on the Cable & DSL 4000 384 file?

since alot of ISP´s set their cap approx 10% higher then advertised, i added 10% when i calculated the config for each file.

so the 4000 384 file is made for 4400 422 speed

van- reset to 3500/384 and rec'd these results.  U said try 4000/384 unless i'm missing something i don't see that in ur "van 5" settings can u send it pls  Confused

new file increased thru a bit . . . up still stinks but that's Comcast!

any additional suggestions for the varatiations iby test?  thru testmy get 4M+ y thru dsl reports get 3.5, 3.6
can i reduce the clutter ?
